Ice Wrap™

Ice Wrap™ is a lightweight refrigerant blanket, which is available as individual sheets or as perforated sheets that can be torn from a larger roll. When hydrated (soaked in water) and frozen, they provide superb protection for chilled and frozen goods during shipment.

The superabsorbent material, which gels the water in place, is held within individual cells in the sheet, creating a "quilted" pattern. When Ice Wrap™ thaws the gel remains trapped inside the cells and does not release water into the package or the environment unlike conventional ice.

In addition to its refrigerant uses, Ice Wrap™ can also be used as a superabsorbent soaker layer, for example - to counter the effects of melting ice in seafood shipping boxes.
