Sorba-Freeze is a refrigerant blanket that maintains a temperature of -5c for over 30 hours. Sorba-Freeze Refrigerant Pads ensure your products arrive at their final destination in the same condition as when they left your premises. The silver laminate not only looks stylish, but the pads are easy to use and provide excellent protection during transit.

In addition the refrigerant pads always stay dry even when defrosted thus eliminating the problem of product and packaging wastage. Sorba-Freeze was patented in 1991 and is now used by a range of industries requiring total temperature control when transporting food.

Each cell measures approx 75mm x 75mm.

When using Sorba-Freeze the amount required will vary depending on several factors, such as the time of year, outside temperature, the amount of time spent in transit, the weight and type of product. How to use Sorba-freeze pads:-
All you need are two elements for Sorba-freeze to work - Water and a Freezer.

1) Decide exactly how many pads you require.
2) Soak the pads in water for 10-15 minutes.
3) Place soaked pads in the freezer as low as -40'C

When freezing more than one layer of pads place a plastic film or waxed paper between them stacking the silver laminate to fabric side. Never place wet pads on bare metal.
Once frozen remove plastic film before use

CAUTION: If freezing pads below-15'C it may burn uncovered skin

By following these instructions you will maximise effect and maintain -5'C for as long as 48hours
